Getting Around the City

Singapore has a comprehensive public transportation consisting of trains (MRT – Mass Rapid Transit), Taxis (remember to call the taxi drivers “uncles”), and Buses. Fares are resonably priced (starting at 65 Singapore cents) and can be purchased at many locations.
We’d also recommend picking up a pre-paid SIM card for your mobile phone once you’re here. Most pre-paid cards offer really affordable international calling, and if you plan to meet friends/family here, this will save you hours of coordination.
The Pathlight Hypnosis Training Centre is located towards the centre of the city – near a MRT station called Novena (find us on Google Maps here). You can get here by finding the nearest train station to you, and find your way to Novena MRT (NS20). It’s on the North-South (red) line. We’re located in Goldhill Plaza, it’s a 5 minute walk from the the train station.
Food, Drinks and Relaxation
Singaporeans are foodies, and you’ll find food from every country offered here. For budget eaters, you’ll find many “food courts” with cuisine from every country. For people interested in more haute cuisine, the city is full of high-end restaurants and award winning chefs crowd the ranks of many hotels.
For more information on eating in Singapore, see InSing Food or HungroGoWhere for more information.
